    • Expand the Graph Open Extension limitations

I'm attempting to use the Graph Extensions for my user data and keep running into limits put in place that I feel are too small. I either hit the 2KB limit per extension, or when I try to break it apart into logical extensions, I hit the error: "Maximum number of extensions values supported per application is 2"

I can provide our business case if needed.

        • Azure AD Redeem invite / Displayname

I invite a user to AAD using the MSGraph API. The user recieves a custom e-mail with the redeem url.

But at the redeem page you get to fill in your displayname which seems to be prefilled with the front part of the e-mail account. Or it should be possible to pass a hint for this field or it should take the displayname of the user account created by createinvitation in AAD.

          • Expose Birthday and Department property to the Users endpoint.

This has been unavailable for a long time now. What's the point in having users store their birthdays if you can only check if it's the current user's birthday or department.

It's astounding that such little effort is put into addressing these issues with the endpoints having various missing props and functions such as contains. All in all it means I can't create the following:

            - Search for department and it's users (Contact search component)
            - Upcoming/Today's birthdays

It can't be that difficult to just add these properties to the /users endpoint as well as fix the permissions issues plaguing…

                • Global Application Configuration Endpoint for MS Graph

                  Ref: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/53686477/global-application-configuration-for-microsoft-graph-api/53698846

It would be great to store some global Application configuration in MS Graph which can be edited by specific user groups but be readable for everybody in the organization.

                  Example usecase:
                  - Store internal Link Map of Company which will be picked up by SPA. Links can be updated by admin.

                  • API to get ownerOf groups

I was trying to get groups where an user is ownerOf. Now I have first get all groups and since group info doesn't include caller role(member/owner), I need to call member API for each of those groups so that I can filter out ownerOf groups.

I need to do similarly large no. of calls to get group member count, since i don't see group member count in group meta data returned by memberOf.

                    • Application Extension Properties documentation is gone, is this feature going away?

We are using Application Extensions but are worried this is going away. The feature is still working we just noticed the documentation on the beta reference below is no longer working so want to know the future of this!

                      Documentation link now broken:
                      https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/docs/api-reference/beta/api/application_list_extensionproperties

API sample call to get list of application extensions:
                      https://graph.microsoft.com/beta/applications/{id}/extensionProperties

                        • Fix findRooms API returns error if RoomList email contains special characters

There is bug in the findRooms API, where it is returning an unusual error where querying a room list that happens to contain a ? (question mark) character in it.

For example, when using the Graph API Explorer using room list email room?s@example.com:

                          • Include deleted roleScopeTags when listing them

The reoleScopeTags list operation does not return tags that were deleted on a global level (Microsoft Intune->Roles->Scope (Tags)), but devices may still be tagged with one of the deleted tags. Please make it possible (at least as an option) to return all tags.

                            https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/intune-rbac-rolescopetag-list?view=graph-rest-beta&viewFallbackFrom=graph-rest-1.0

By the way: the roleScopeTags behave inconsistently in the portal as well. Example: One of my devices was tagged with 6 tags. I deleted 4 of them in the roleScopeTag overview (Microsoft Intune->Roles->Scope (Tags)). In the device overview it now says: "Scope (Tags)
6 scope tag(s) selected", but when opening the selection it only shows the…

I have been trying to get a Graph call (checkMemberGroups?api-version=1) from ASP.Net web application since August. Everything is centered around Windows applications, and it doesn't seem to translate to the web.

Since there is an API the returns the subscribedSku's already, it would be nice to have a new endpoint or extend the existing api to return the subscribedSkus cost per user per month/annum

Graph api should introduce an alternative for getting mailbox permissions info that is provided today by powershell and EWS.

                                    • Manage all aspects of plain old Distribution Lists (NOT Office 365 Groups).

We have the need to create Distribution Lists in Exchange, NOT Office 365 Groups, as we do NOT need all the overhead associated with the Office 365 groups. We simply need the Distribution Lists to collect a group of email addresses and treat them as a single unit. We don't need them to log in, we don't want to provide them with a running history of email conversations and we don't want them to get a "welcome" email message. We just want to send an email to a single email address and have it be disbursed to the addresses on…

                                      • Some of the Organization property names are incorrect under properties section

Some of the organization property names are incorrect. Organization object does have neither companyLastDirSyncTime nor dirSyncEnabled. Please update documentation accordingly under properties section.

Here is the documentation url: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/resources/organization?view=graph-rest-beta

                                        Correct property names should be:
                                        - onPremisesLastSyncDateTime
                                        - onPremisesSyncEnabled

                                        • I just want to open a file given a URL ...

It should be trivial in node -- if it's a public URL a simple get should work and if it's my word file I should be able to present an authorization token.

Yet when I try to find a simple example for nodeJS I find myself thrown into the full complexity of the Microsoft Graph. Sure, I can master it but there should be a simple way to do simple things. As a bonus, the examples should leverage TypeScript.
