    • Support Writing to PersonOrGroup Columns

      Currently it isn't possible to write values to a PersonOrGroup column in a List Item. The API lacks the ability to retrieve a list of people or groups, making it impossible to determine the ID stored in the Site's _catalog. It also lacks the equivalent to SharePoint's Web.EnsureUser() method making it impossible to generate new IDs based on an existing User object.

      Request is:

      - Support returning list of users and groups from the site

      - Provide an equivalent to Web.EnsureUser() that handles transparently mapping an existing User or Group entity to a Site's catalog.

      - Support returning the actual…

      • Fix "/outlook/masterCategories" API endpoint for personal outlook accounts

        I have authorized the scopes

        mail.read
        user.read
        mailboxsettings.readwrite

        so I should be able to access a user's inbox categories, but the beta API endpoints starting with "outlook" mentioned in this post:

        https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/exchangedev/2017/10/09/new-outlook-apis-in-the-microsoft-graph-rooms-rules-categories-headers-and-time-zones/

        are not accessible whatsoever.

        Keep in mind I tested this endpoint and it works perfectly: https://graph.microsoft.com/beta/me/mailFolders

        but this one: https://graph.microsoft.com/beta/me/outlook/masterCategories returns the error:

        {
        "error": {
        "code": "RequestBroker-ParseUri",
        "message": "Resource not found for the segment 'Outlook'.",
        "innerError": {
        "request-id": "a75d1c9a-c6ae-4b69-83ca-fc0e467a4ad7",
        "date": "2017-12-26T17:23:17"
        }
        }
        }

        • Ability to filter on collection type properties (e.g. find all users with skill X)

          In order to, for example, filter users by a certain skill you cannot do only one REST call now.

          From stackexchange:

          "Filter on collection type properties is represented as below:

          https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/users?$filter=skills/any(c:c eq 'Javascript')

          However, filter on skills property is currently not supported. You can place a request in uservoice site."

          I would like support for this /any command, specifically for skills but for all queries would be great too.

          • Increase webhook subscription from 3 days to about 6 months

            From the developer's view, ideally the webhook subscription will never expire. But that's probably not practical.

            The next best would be say 6month expiry. Because that means we still need to build a re-scheduling mechanism. But we don't have to run it every 3 days.

            I believe if the expiry was too long say 1 or 2 years, the developers will leave without building a re-scheduler, so the webhook will just break in 1 year's time.

            Currently, because the webhook subscription expires every three days, we are driving a behaviour where developers don't use webhooks - they just use scheduled…

            • Allow PowerShell ClientID to consume Office 365 Usage Reports

              It would be great if we could access the Office 365 Usage Report without creating an Azure App like explained here : https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/dawiese/2017/04/15/get-office365-usage-reports-from-the-microsoft-graph-using-windows-powershell/

              Indeed, it's kind of a showstopper for consultants who want to assess a client's Office 365 tenant.

              There is a PowerShell ClientID that is already available to consume other GraphAPI feature like this :
              https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/paulomarques/2016/03/21/working-with-azure-active-directory-graph-api-from-powershell/

              But if we use it, it fails with:
              Invoke-RestMethod : {
              "error": {
              "code": "InvalidAuthenticationToken",
              "message": "Access token validation failure.",
              "innerError": {
              "request-id": "82702d75-723c-4725-be89-b0bc3a1e95ee",
              "date": "2017-04-19T13:10:27"
              }
              }
              }

              • Set mailbox property "AddressBookPolicy" using Microsoft Graph API

                When provisioning users using Microsoft Graph API we cannot set the mailbox property "AddressBookPolicy" (ABP) which means we must execute a powershell script to set the property every time users are created. We can create the ABP's manually as this is a one-time action but with new users being created every day on tens of tenants, setting the ABP property through powershell is a nightmare.

                  • Allow filtering users by officeLocation

                    While filtering works for some attributes like department it doesn't work for officeLocation, which sadly I need for my use case.

                          • Publish gem omniauth-microsoft_v2_auth on rubygems.org

                            For current Ruby integration, the gem omniauth-microsoft_v2_auth needs to be pulled from github, rather than from the standard gems source of rubygems.org.

                            omniauth_src = 'git://github.com/cbales/omniauth-microsoft_graph'
                            gem 'omniauth-microsoft_v2_auth', git: omniauth_src

                            Can you please publish the gem with all the other gems on rubygems.org, to avoid pulleding directly from github?

                            gem 'omniauth-microsoft_v2_auth'

                            • Add support for optimization headers in Delta Query.

                              I'm incrementally pulling users/groups via the delta query in Microsoft Graph. While polling I want to obtain only changed attributes of the directoryObjects.

                              We can get the changed properties in AzureAD Graph with "ocp-aad-dq-include-only-changed-properties" header.

                              The "ocp-aad-dq-include-only-changed-properties" header is a feature of the Azure AD Graph API and isn't supported in Microsoft Graph.

                              It would be nice if we can use same optimization headers in Microsoft Graph API.

                              • Make it possible to fetching a users favourite groups

                                It is possible to mark a group as favourite using the group_addfavorite API but I can't seem to retrieve that info anywhere.

                                I think it is more important being able to read favourites than adding if I can't read since you can mark as favourite in browser.

                                • Graph API extensions to place users on hold

                                  It would be really helpful if the Graph API could put mailboxes and onedrive sites on litigation hold. This would also make the process a bit more secure so we could utilize an application to implement the process instead of relying on user credentials. In our organization we are driving towards just in time access. Without Azure P2 licensing this is just another blocker in fully implementing just in time access due to the current requirements of using the Security and Compliance Powershell module.

                                  • filter with content type in subsite

                                    When we try to expand items inside subsite, it is returning only one type of content type, we have two types of content types we are not able to access 2nd content type

                                      • Provide an API method which can be used to create Teams

                                        Today, the latest beta version of the Microsoft Graph API allows for groups to be created, but it does not provide an API function to create Teams.

                                        I would like an API method which will allow me to create teams, specifying the title and privacy setting for the team.

                                        • Allow contains() on the /devices endpoint

                                          We need to be able to search a list of devices by name using a contains() filter.

                                          e.g.:
                                          /devices?$filter=contains('DESKTOP',displayName)
