  2. Support for invoking O365 add-ins in shared mailbox context in the new Web Outlook

    We have been told that support for add-ins in shared mailboxes will be added to Outlook in Q2/Q3 of 2019. Thus, we have started rolling out support for shared mailboxes in our add-in too.

    As part of this, we have noticed that the add-in icons are only rendered in the context of a shared mailbox element if the user is in the old look of Web Outlook.

    Since more and more people will be using the new look as default, users should be able to invoke the add-ins via the new look too.

    Please add support for rendering the add-in…

  5. Make Office.context.ui.closeContainer() close the reading pane in compose mode on desktop outlook.

    Office.context.ui.closeContainer() does not close the reading pane in compose mode on desktop outlook.

    Use case:
    This is typically an issue when a user tries to forward or reply to an email using the reading pane. The user clicks our addin's "Send email and log" button.
    Once the email is sent, the add-in calls: Office.context.ui.closeContainer() to close the draft email within the reading pane. However, nothing happens and no error is returned.
    Which is confusing to the user.

  6. Add displayMessageFormAsync to office.js so that it accepts a callback

    In the current displayMessageForm, when a newly created item.itemId is specified there is a high probability of failure.

    When displayMessageForm form fails the caller is never made aware.
    Allowing a callback to be passed would permit the request to handle the failure.

    The ability to display a message form should permit a callback to be passed that expects an indicator of success/failure for the request.

  7. OnSend for Outlook add-ins on desktop client

    Currently the OnSend feature does not work for the desktop client version of Outlook, as stated in the feature documentation (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/add-ins/outlook-on-send-addins):

    "The on send feature is currently supported for Outlook on the web in Office 365, Exchange 2016 on-premises (Cumulative Update 6 or later), and Exchange 2019 on-premises (Cumulative Update 1 or later)."

    Please enable the feature for the desktop client as well.

  10. Quick Poll (Form Add-In)

    I don't want the people that I send the poll to, to able to see the total results. This should be selectable by me when I create the poll. I only want them to respond to the question.

  11. Please make it EASIER to transfer "OFFICE PRODUCT CODE" to NEW computer=since I have bought it installed in SEVERAL of the computers ie8tota

    I know this may not be the "approved category" for this info,,,BUT since I (and many others) have used MSC/MSN for 35+ YEARS-and cpu's for 45+ years- please make it easier to transfer prod.code from one older cpu to new.
    I can't count the # of office suites I have bought pre-loaded =because I don't use office. Now that I have to (just for e-mail) because I got hit with a RARE high mortality form of Arthritis- I need to BUY ?? it. I hope not. Maybe MSN or my colleagues will help with educational info=does MSN have a history…

  12. Office.context.mailbox.item.recurrence can return info to different this event or all events

    Office.context.mailbox.item.recurrence should return info to different this event or all events. Because every time when we open a recurring meeting notification show you are editing a vent or all events this series.
    But add-in can not different this two kind status so that add-in only can do very limit about edit or delete recurrence meeting.

  13. VBA Date Picker and Progress Bar controls in Outlook

    Earlier 32-bit versions of office, including Outlook, had popular VBA form controls for picking dates and displaying progress bars, which have apparently been deprecated in later 64-bit versions of Office.

    With the passage of time, many are installing the 64-bit version of Office in 64-bit versions of Windows. While the 64-bit version of Office has been around for years, Microsoft has still not provided these very popular form controls.

    Why has it taken so long to restore these widely requested form controls for Outlook? Will they ever be restored and, if not, what are the workarounds?

    Thank you for considering…

    Can I get mail data from Office 365 email server through MAPI?

    "You can use MAPI to access items and folders in public and private stores, as well as to access the properties stored with each item. All versions of Outlook use MAPI. "
    https://docs.microsoft.com/zh-cn/office/client-developer/outlook/selecting-an-api-or-technology-for-developing-solutions-for-outlook

    Can I use MAPI to access data on Exchange Online?

  16. get mail as a file in outlook angular plugin to send it to server

    I am working on a Angular plugin for outlook, we have a functionality to create a opinion based on the mail. for this we need to add the mail itself as a attachment to the form(A form for opinion creation) while creating the opinion and posting to our server.

  17. Add Office.EventType.ItemSent event for Outlook

    This should work simular as the Office.EventType.ItemSend event and pass a parameter with the id of the newly sent email item. It would be handy to be able to post process emails that have been sent.

  18. Add "Show As" and "Reminder" fields in the Javascript API for Outlook

    Being able to retrieve (and possibly control) the "Show As" {Free, Busy, Tentative,...} and the "Reminder" {None, 1 minute, ...} fields would be incredibly useful.

    Something like this (in AppointmentCompose):

    Office.context.mailbox.item.showAs.getAsync(r => ...)
    Office.context.mailbox.item.addHandlerAsync(Office.EventType.ShowAsChanged, r => ...)

    Office.context.mailbox.item.reminder.getAsync(r => ...)
    Office.context.mailbox.item.addHandlerAsync(Office.EventType.ReminderChanged, r => ...)

  19. create the function for an ALL MAIL INBOX

    this is a INBOX where all other email inboxes from all/other supplier (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, hotmail etc) can be linked to - similar to what is available in Windows Mail. this would remove the need to have them all duplicated in favorites to achieve clear visibility and avoid filling up the Right hand column with the various in boxes thereby giving great visibility to the other PST files stored.

  20. Outlook opening from inside excel officejs

    Be able to take some content from the excel worksheet and put it in an outlook email. Then, instead of it being sent by the system but rather open to me the new email so I would be able to control it and if i would be satisfied i will send it manually.
