Automatically activate Office Add-ins based on a regex pattern in the email or meeting body
It should be possible to automatically activate Office Add-ins based on a regex pattern in the email or meeting body. This way the user doesn't always have to click the Add in button to open the sidepanel.
Alternatively it should be possible for a user to "Pin" an add-in so that it is always opened.

Thanks for the feedback! We’re taking a look at this but need to understand more about the request. The ability to “pin” an add-in exists in Outlook Desktop 2016 but not for add-ins that activate on regex. Can you share some more specific information about your scenario please?
Thanks!

We would also like to inform users actively within the add-in about specific circumstances in the context of an e-mail in compose mode. So it would great to have an option to PIN or auto activate add-ins in this context. Thanks for your consideration!

I have the same requirement. For example - I have to track if email came as a reply and while doing so I need to check a pixel is present or not. Don't want the user who is reading the mail to pin the add-in or click the add-in. Please suggest.

I want to remove suggested meeting add-in, It is totally inappropriate for me and incredibly annoying
