Allow Outlook add-in commands to be used on selections of multiple items
Currently an add-in command will disable if multiple Outlook mail items are selected. It would be really useful to be able run certain commands by iterating over a collection of the selected items.

Thanks for your feedback! This is in our backlog but lower priority than a few other features. We’ll keep you posted with status updates.
Thanks!

Hi Office Dev Team,
is this is still "In Backlog"? When can we expect an update for this?
Thank you!

Alex

It was marked as "In Backlog" in 2015 and we still haven't seen movement on it. How can you expect developers to pick up development on the Office Add-in Platform without these sorts of seemingly basic functions? Please implement this asap!

I got tickets about selecting mail in the webaccess. Our packet processes mails. Seems that workers really want to do this.

Is there a known date for implementation. This function would be much appreciated.

Is there any news on this feature? It would be such a productivity boost to be able to handle multiple items at once in an add-in.

Working for a client now, they would love this feature to replace an old style client add-in. Would be nice to have an indication on when and if this functionality will be added.
