provide a way to access a calendar from the browser
1) For the calendars, I would need a property similar to Event.WebLink in order to be able to access the calendar from the browser
2) If possible, when opening the calendar in the browser, I would need to provide the calendar view (day/week/month) and the date.
Thank you for sharing! We’re always looking at understanding the feature sets that folks would find value in having as an out of the box feature of the platform. We’ll pass this along to the engineering teams. We’ll also update the blogs here at http://dev.outlook.com with any news.
Office Extensibility Team
This would be really useful. Just today I was talking with a coworker about an activity scheduling system we have to develop. We figured it would be nice to create a calendar for the activity using the graph, and give the user a direct link to add events to that calendar; then when they come back, read from the graph and take the event times as the times that the activity should be scheduled at.
This idea enables a nice way of integrating the existing power of office calendars into new applications that need scheduling capabilities.
