Range object improvements
Please, add Start and End properties to Range object, like in https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.office.interop.word.range.start.aspx

I would add that not having the ability to specify a range based on code point positions makes it literally impossible for us to create the sort of add in we want. In our case we need to process the document in a 3rd party system and then be able to highlight/annotate ranges of text returned by that 3rd party system.
The recommended solution on stackoverflow is to use search, but this is both highly error prone due to unicode and other encoding differences and the search api has a maximum of 255 characters making larger text selections impossible to select.

And make them writable. I want to fine-tune a range at the code point or code unit level. Being able to do so would greatly simplify my code.
