Excel App - Ability to manage sheets in a workbook
Ability to manage sheets in a workbook, is a key feature requirement for using Office Apps for OLTP systems.
The main idea is to fill the gap between VSTO features and Office Apps. This will help in easy portability of VSTO based apps to Office apps.
Hari, thanks for your feedback! Basic CRUD operations for worksheets already available. Please check out dev.office.com and let us know what you think.

Not exactly related to sheet management "CRUD", but it would be very useful to know what is the "current" worksheet in code. E.g. what's the currently visible sheet while getting/setting data, or while accessing an existing binding, or when creating a new one.
The worksheet entity, then, would at least hold its name, and likely other properties like position w.r.t other sheets.

I would like to see the ability to show or hide worksheets via code. This can be done on the desktop. I also would like to protect or remove protection from worksheets which can be done via code on the desktop. This would allow working on a specific workbook on the desktop or the Web version.

Would like to see the ability to Add, Rename, Delete, and Show/Hide Worksheets. These requirements are common in Excel App for Office projects.
