    For Appointments we need a property telling us if the current item is part a Recurring Meeting Series (In Compose mode)
    Also we need to know if it is the actual Recurring meeting series we are currently editing

  5. Office JS API built for handling multiple items

    Unfortunately Office JS API built for handling a single item, Office.context.mailbox.item

    If this can be extended to handle multiple items then it will really nice e.g. Office.context.mailbox.items

    Regards.

  7. Provide webhooks for task changes

    There is currently a gap in web hook support for the outlook apis. It would be great if we could get events triggered when a task is added or updated in outlook.

  8. Fix RoamingSettings Cache problem with Get("propertyName")

    Scenario: I am saving properties to the Office.context.roamingSettings. For example with the following code:

    window.office.context.roamingSettings.set("ABC","NewValue");
    window.office.context.roamingSettings.saveAsync( function (asyncResult) {

    if (asyncResult.error) {

    // well, work with the error? asyncResult.error.message
    } else {
    alert(Office.context.roamingSettings.get("ABC"));
    }

    });

    The alert is always displaying the old value. The new value can only be retrieved when closing the add-in and reopen it again.

  9. Support dynamic content in Add-in commands ribbon dropdown menu

    It would be very useful if add-ins dropdown menu could contain dynamically generated items. Now the displayed content in the ribbon dropdown need to be hardcoded even for sub-menus which limit the capabilities of add-ins commands.
    See question on stackoverflow
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/36315571/dynamic-content-in-add-in-command-with-ribbon-dropdown-menu

  10. Support to add file attachments in Outlook 365 and Outlook add-ins from byte array

    Allow add-ins to attach files from byte array without needing a path or URL of the file.

    For example, we have a webService that returns a byte array of a file and we want our add-in to get the byte array and make a new attachment

  11. Outlook for mac (add-in) - keep html properties when created with setSelectedDataAsync

    The method setSelectedDataAsync does not seem to be keeping the HTML properties on mac:

    var contents = "<br/> <a id=&quot;myelement" + MyElement+ "&quot; href=&quot;dev.office.com&quot;></a>";
    Office.context.mailbox.item.body.setSelectedDataAsync(contents, { coercionType: "html" });

    becomes:
    <br/>
    <a href="dev.office.com" style="color: rgb(5, 99, 193); text-decoration: underline;">MyElement</a>

    (see: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/43141806/outlook-for-mac-add-in-body-does-not-keep-html-properties-when-created-with

    and

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msofficeofficeinsider-msomac/outlook-for-mac-add-in-body-does-not-keep-html/1e96b035-7e08-4aaa-927c-6ade8572d77d?tm=1490024955913
    )

    As a developer, when I insert HTML properties on the body it's because I'd like to use them further on, therefore, I'd like to keep what I'm inserting.

  13. Allow Outlook add-in commands to be used on selections of multiple items

    Currently an add-in command will disable if multiple Outlook mail items are selected. It would be really useful to be able run certain commands by iterating over a collection of the selected items.

  15. Make the module extension add-in available for Outlook.com (and then hopefully the iOS and Android mobile apps)

    Just looking at the new module extension point for Outlook add-ins.

    https://dev.office.com/docs/add-ins/outlook/extension-module-outlook-add-ins?product=outlook

    I notice that this is only currently available for the desktop version of Outlook

    "Note: Module extensions are available only in Office 2016 Click to Run."

    It would be great if this extension could be added to the Outlook.com and the mobile apps

  16. Provide functionality for Outlook Add-In to automatically launch in the task pane

    Our very successful commercial Outlook add-in ePredict for SharePoint (http://ww3w.docauto.com/product/epredict-for-sharepoint) automatically launches its UI in the task pane in desktop versions of Outlook. Our customers are interested in a version for Office 365 Outlook online. However, Office 365 Outlook online requires user input to launch a task pane add-in. Our users would not accept this. Please add functionality, probably in the manifest, that would allow a user to give permission to an add-in to automatically launch in the task pane when an existing email is opened or a new email is being created. Thanks!

  17. Stop creating outlook accounts for Microsoft Accounts with no outlook mailbox

    We've written an application which interacts with the user's inbox on GMail, and we're adding support for Outlook.com users too.

    As our app depends on the user having an inbox, we need to display an error when the user tried to login with a microsoft account they created for another domain. For example - if I create a Microsoft Account with a @gmail.com email address.

    Trying to fetch email from GMail's API with a Google account wiith a Microsoft address returns an error, which allows to ask the users to try logging in with an alternative account.

    Doing the opposite…

  19. Make Outlook/Mail Universal App supporting Office add-ins

    The Universal App Mail (Outlook mobile) is definitely used a lot and is a solid candidate for being the mobile friendly Outlook client people were looking for.
    Unfortunately, the version 17.6525.42271.0 does not support office add-ins. I did not see a roadmap indicating it will be, but that would be a huge plus. Now the only mobile approach to consume add-ins is with a fallback with Outlook Web Access.

  20. Enabling drag&drop with Add-ins commands and TaskPane menu

    It would be nice to enable drag and drop of a given outlook item in the taskpane menu.
