Duplicate request (specifically for Outlook) https://officespdev.uservoice.com/forums/224641-feature-requests-and-feedback/suggestions/13266885-enabling-drag-drop-with-add-ins-commands-and-taskp

The new To Do integration into Outlook Web Access allows drag/drop of mail to the To Do pane, it's slick and what people have been asking for here for over 5 years. Please enable this for 3rd party add-ins, we need it to make compelling add-ins and get of VSTO.

I've got a use case of wanting to allow the user to select one or multiple mail items and drag drop to an open task pane. In this case it's for filing email into a repository. The native To Do integration in Outlook Web Access has this exact functionality (drag a mail item onto the To Do pane to create a To Do item from it) - Microsoft has the same needs and enabled it for 1st party products, we need it to build compelling 3rd party add-ins too!
