We’ve added some changes to our documentation to better cover our REST APIs. For existing APIs (such as the list, list items, folders, and files APIs), we added additional documentation in MSDN. Moving forward, we are trying our best to fully document new REST APIs, an example of which is the new Files API included in the recently-announced Office 365 APIs. Please let us know what you think — we’re happy to make changes based on constructive criticism.

We’ve been working on the tasks area of the Microsoft Graph with the aim of creating a clearer and more consistent API story around tasks from Outlook, Planner, WunderList and SharePoint. We don’t have anything to share at present, but we are investing in this space.Anonymous commented
Any updates on this?
I would like to be able to read/write Exchange Tasks right now with the Office 365 API. It's ok if the API changes later on if/when you figure out how to merge Sharepoint Tasks in. As it is now, Windows 8 AKA Metro AKA Universal AKA Windows Store Apps cannot access Tasks through Outlook COM or the Office 365 APIs.
