No, do not add in JavaScript support for two reasons 1) VBA will be quietly end of lifed after 3 years, breaking hundreds of thousands of proven VBA solutions written by end users world wide, 2) Trading VBA for JavaScript trades one legacy language for one with another legacy language.
Making Office development more complex by adding in another language and that languages' large number of language defects is not a good idea.
If any language would be to brought in, bring in a subset of C# .NET.
